yep, the tomb of primeval kings has been changed into a PvE outpost now. you can't get to the halls from there anymore. instead you have to kick the crap out of whatever seems to be corrupting it.

and doing that is harder than....anything i've met before.

it seems like ANet took the most powerful builds that we've come up with and gave them to the AI, along with some new skill called "fingers of chaos". it's so powerful that it's scary. they can't miss when attacking rangers! holy crap! THEY REMOVE ENCHANTMENTS FROM MONKS! and some other effects that i've forgotten.

ya thats pretty sweet that they put greens in there. they are suppose to be pretty sweet. never seen one and my bro has never had one dropped but they seem pretty darn sweet. and ya that fingers of chaos is like ANets way of Nerfing us. now we lose any enchants put on, mending, life bond, ect. thats crap. though it makes it interesting. if anyone gets a green post a pic of it

I was flipping channels earlier (rarely watch tv, and this thread will be one of the many reasons why) and an advertisement for Valtrex, a genital herpies treatment medication, came on.

Watching it, the naturally flawless face of some non entity is telling me that "sometimes, I feel like whole days of my life are lost from outbreaks". What she means is, she cannot, in good conscience, screw her partner without the worry of spreading the little warts named Wally.

That was bad enough, but then, when I actually found myself sucked into the commercial like a cultist chanting "cheese whiz at night", the "side effects" get listed:

"Do not take valtrex if youre immune system is not normal (thanks for making me feel good about who I am nadwads!), due to kidney or bone marrow transplant, or ADVANCED HIV DISEASE...

Uh...Let me think a minute. If I am infected with full-blown AIDS, and I know my timetable is slowly going away...would it be too much for me to say aloud to myself, perhaps to ensure I am smart about all this, TO NOT BOTHER with trying to prevent a little wart-infestation? Imma die!

At this point I turned off and unplugged the idiot box...

Sometimes the side effects are worse than the drugs. I can't remember the name of the pill, but I'll never forget the weight loss/diet pill that was for severe obesity. The usual side effects: headaches, cramps, drowsiness, death (as if that's not bad enough), heart problems... but the worst one, the one I'd rather stay fat for.... flatulence with oily discharge.

Flatulence with an oily discharge??! I'd hate to see that happen to someone. and I'd rather be Obese than dead or farting oil all over the place.

Its like the acne medicaion Accutane. They make you sign off on a 16 page book full of side effects, 3 pages of which are dedicated to telling women not to get pregnant while taking it. They have to list EVERY possible side effect. Some of these were night blindness, brain swelling, death, suicidial tendancies, ect.. But i'll tell you one thing, I havent had any acne since i finished it.

..but of course my swollen brain is dead from being suicidal and i cant see at night, but whatever :P

wow that sucks.. opening at 8:30 would defiently bite. but of coures this summer i have to start at 8... taht will bite but o well. my bro just got scammed out of 15k. he was trying to get Victo's Battle Axe for 115k and he gave the person 15k then they would trade 100k and the Axe at the same time. the chick got the 15k then said it was on their other account, they logged off before my bro could ask for his money back for insurance. the person hasnt been back on. if that person gets on (i have there IGN) they are gonna get in some trouble w/ me.
